Students present their projects in poster format — a showcase of innovation, research, and academic excellence.
The 16 Avril Event is an annual academic showcase where students across all departments present their research and innovative projects in the form of scientific posters — bridging the gap between academic work and real-world impact.
A platform that highlights the intellectual achievements of our student community through peer-reviewed poster presentations.
Students, faculty, and guests come together to discuss ideas, exchange knowledge, and inspire the next generation of researchers.
Outstanding posters are evaluated and awarded by an expert jury, giving students well-deserved recognition for their efforts.
Scientific poster presentations are a key format in academic conferences. Here's everything you need to know.
A scientific poster is a large-format visual display summarizing a research project — including objectives, methods, results, and conclusions — in a clear and visually engaging layout.
Each student stands beside their poster and presents their work to visitors, jury members, and peers. Discussions are encouraged, making it an interactive and dynamic experience.
Projects are assessed on scientific rigor, clarity of presentation, visual design quality, originality, and the student's ability to answer questions from the evaluation committee.
An independent expert jury evaluates each poster using a standardized rubric. Final scores are compiled and the top-ranked posters receive certificates and awards.
